Its kind of hard sometimes.

Its kind of hard sometimes to post when nothing all that much has been happening. Other than me starting my bike riding again, which as you will read has been an adventure. So for the last week, actually twice last week I rode my bike to school. Keep in mind I live about 8 miles with two large hills heading to the school. I was able to make it, I felt like my lungs were going to explode but I made it. I tried to go ride to school another time this week but I got an super annoying flat tire that seemingly wouldn't go away.

The first tire I got a nail in the tire so obviously that tube was dead, and I forgot to get spare tubes so I had to call a cab to pick me up. (I was 5 miles from home, and if anyone has ever tried to walk in bike shoes, 5 miles is way out of the question.) The next day Candace had off so I drove down to the bike store and got some new tubes.

That afternoon Candace and I struggled to change the tube, I forgot how much of a pain in the ass it is to change a tube. Anyways, we decided to attempt to go on a short ride together and as soon as I started riding, I noticed the tire pressure was low, so I pumped up the tire and broke the valve off. Even if we didn't put the tube on wrong, it still wouldn't of worked. The next day I put on another tube and tried to go to school. 3 miles later, my tire went flat for no reason. So i walked home, this time I took my shoes off and walked home. Finally I borrowed the car and brought it back to the bike store, where they showed me a way to prevent future problems and I finally was on the road again.

Candace has been working 6 days a week coming home at weird hours so its been difficult for her to start working out again. I feel bad trying to force it on her, because I know that if I make it a chore, she doesn't (for that matter no one) want or have the energy to work out. I think that we just need to push through the initial discomfort but I know its hard. We are at least trying to eat right though, its just hard to work out and work at the same time. Especially when you work 12-14 hours a day and you get home at 10-11 at night. Her motivation is back, its that she is physically drained from working so much.

Thats all that fit to print right now, I will try to be better, but I haven't had the energy to do so, lazy I guess.
